Senior Software Developer

Drowning in pools is one of the leading causes of death for children up to the age of 14.
Lifeguard develops an edge device, AI-based drowning detection system that solves this problem
We are well funded and have completed first version development, and now we are expanding and looking for strong software engineers and data scientists who will lead the product development

We're looking for an expert
• Ensure our architecture supports our short and long term goals
• Implement and refactor key parts of our platform to meet our growing scale and performance challenges.
• Research and adoption of new technologies.
• Work with our product and AI teams, sharing knowledge and implementing best practices.
• Mentor and be mentored by other engineers.

Requirements
• Strong ability to work independently and a desire to quickly learn new programming languages and technologies
• 5+ years of strong technical and coding skills with passion for system architecture
• Experience designing and working with frameworks from the world of Computer Vision Extensive experience working in a Linux environment
• 3+ years of experience in Python development
• Experience in the development and implementation of Object Detection models
• Advantage - experience with developing software for Edge Devices
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• A can-do approach and a positive attitude!
