Social Media Professional Freelance
We're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Social Media Professional Freelance which is passionate about working with some of the brightest minds in Israel from Weizmann Institute of Science.
Working with the head of marketing, the Social and Content professional will be responsible for creating relevant and targeted content as well as owning our social media strategy including releasing relevant updates such as company news, Newsletters, various announcements, events etc.,
The Social and Content professional will be responsible to produce short and long-form content such as Newsletter, LinkedIn posts, testimonials etc. from ideation stage, to script development, to design and post-production.
You will support the company’s ongoing marketing and communications efforts and become our company’s social media all-star. Our ideal candidate knows how to tell compelling, authentic, & engaging stories, has exceptional writing skills, and excels using social media channels (particularly LinkedIn and Facebook) to engage our audiences, strengthen Comp's brand recognition and support Comp's growth.
You will be the creative force behind many of Comp's successful innovations to build our brand, support company growth, and establish Comp's global recognition as a great source of innovation.
Responsibilities:
◣ Build active social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook) and potentially other channels (Instagram, YouTube and Twitter).
◣ Build and run social media campaigns and contribute to technology-specific social media campaigns.
◣ Be able to interview researchers on deep research topics and build a synopsis and script around them.
◣ Design and run creative campaigns and think of new ways to showcase our researchers.
◣ Develop content strategy that encourages growth across all channels.
◣ Write content to Comp's Newsletter and other Marketing Materials .
◣ Follow up on PR relating to Comp's deals which are signed on an ongoing basis.
Requirements:
◣ Native English speaker - a must
◣ 5+ years experience in B2B content writing / copywriting - a must
◣ Fast learner and a passion to learn about some of the most amazing technologies that originate from the research labs at Weizmann Institute.
◣ Passion for social media and experience running campaigns in our top social media channels
◣ Ability to understand and identify with Comp's voice and brand
Experience implementing content marketing.
◣ Ability to consume external social content and distill relevant strategies for brand growth
◣ Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to simply communicate complex matters
◣ Ability to work autonomously while still communicating progress and direction to the CIO and Head of Marketing.
