Viviana Cohn has over twenty years of experience as an instructional designer, trainer, teacher, writer, and researcher. She has worked for the University sector, the Technical and Further Education sector, and a number of private Australian Registered Training Organisations. She has also over twenty years of experience in the Community Service industry having worked in the disability, homelessness, youth advocacy, and community legal sectors. Her strengths include the ability to translate complex technical criteria and convoluted conceptual analysis into simple, easy-to-understand terms. Viv holds a Bachelor of Arts in Community Development with a First-Class Honours in Social Research; a Graduate Diploma in Law from Latrobe University, a Dual Diploma of Vocational Education (TAE50116) and Training Design and Development (TAE50216) from Plenty Training and has just recently completed a UDEMI course in creating eLearning Courses with Articulate Storyline 360 or 3.

Viviana Cohn's political activism led to over two decades of police harassment in Australia. Her successful career as an instructional designer and curriculum writer was heavily supported by political movements in the Australian technical and trade education sector, where she was elected as President of Box Hill TAFE student union in 1989.

Viviana Cohn’s strong work as an anti-psychiatry activist included an attempted PhD candidature at the University of Melbourne. However, when the psychiatric profession discovered that her research progress was developing into a strong anti-psychiatric conclusion, they arranged for her husband Michael Hirschfeld (of the Jerusalem Hirschfeld family), who provided financial and emotional support during her Ph.D. candidature, to establish a legal brothel in the State of Victoria Australia (by way of forging Viviana Cohn’s signature on the brothel license).

Upon discovering her husband's forgery of her signature on a brothel license, Viviana Cohn confronted the psychiatric professionals involved in her research assignment. The response of Dr Robert Shields from the Alfred Psychiatric Hospital was that Viviana Cohn was not able to complete a Ph.D. on the grounds that she was too sensitive to the notion that prostitution was a legitimate capitalist response to dealing with men and women who were in critical pain. These men and women require nurturing support rather than the drug addiction and abuse they experienced from psychiatric services in Australia. Hence her PhD research, which inevitably concluded with recommendations that psychiatry as a profession be abolished and that all psychiatric services be disbanded, was brought to a halt.

Her previous work has included an unpublished sociology honors thesis relating to the social movement theoretical underpinning of the 9/11 protest movement in Victoria, one year prior to the 9/11 hijacker attack against the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City. She worked at the Finance Sector Union as a service team organizer, where she was sexually assaulted by her immediate manager as well as an executive of the Victorian Work Cover Authority. Her political activism commenced when she was a 14-year-old child, groomed by a pedophile who worked for the local Doncaster police. Viviana Cohn was later again sexually assaulted by a State psychiatrist. She has reported all of the incidents of sexual assault and rape to the police and no one has been charged to her knowledge. She is aware, however, that other, clandestine forms of justice have been imposed, including medically unnecessary amputations.
