מתנת יומולדת לסבא שחגג 90. ניצול שואה, שעד היום נשוי, עובד, משחק עם הנכדים שגרים בסביבתו, והמתנה אליו הייתה לקחת תמונה מחתונה של אחי, שהתקיימה זמן קצר לפני חגיגות יום הולדתו, ובחתונה היה גילוי מרתק אודות הכרותו עם הרב מגיל ילדות, ומהתקופה בה התרחשה השואה. היה נראה לי ראוי ונכון להפתיע אותו בעקבות התרגשותו במעמד הגילוי .. לקחת תמונה שלו מאותו היום ולהפוך אותה לציור של ממש ... שישמר לעד...
