  • Infrastructure Expansion: Spearheaded the design and implementation of new cloud infrastructure in three distinct regions, incorporating comprehensive Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions to ensure business continuity and minimize downtime.
  • Secure Connectivity: Architected and implemented a unique, highly secure solution enabling customers to connect to our platform without traversing the public internet. This involved leveraging AWS Direct Connect and AWS PrivateLink to establish private, dedicated connections, significantly enhancing security and performance.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Led the transition of our infrastructure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, automating infrastructure provisioning and management, and improving consistency, repeatability, and deployment speed.
  • Continuous Delivery Improvements: Significantly improved our Continuous Delivery (CD) process by implementing multi-tenant support and automating key processes, resulting in faster and more reliable deployments,
  • Problem Solving & Support: Provided expert problem-solving and troubleshooting across our entire infrastructure stack, including AWS, Octopus Deploy, and our CI/CD pipeline, minimizing downtime, ensuring system stability, and improving overall system performance.
  • Migrated our API infrastructure from Elastic Beanstalk (EB) to Elastic Container Service (ECS), fully automating the environment build and deployment process using Terraform and Octopus Deploy. This included configuring IAM roles and policies, setting up the ECS cluster, service, and tasks, integrating with the Application Load Balancer (including auto-registration), and configuring CloudWatch log groups.

  • Cost Optimization Initiatives: Led cost optimization initiatives across the AWS environment, identifying and eliminating unnecessary cloud resources, right-sizing instances, and leveraging Reserved Instances and Savings Plans.
  • Infrastructure Problem Solving: Provided expert-level problem-solving and troubleshooting support for the entire infrastructure, resolving complex technical issues related to a wide range of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EB, AWS Transfer, SM...] and application deployments, ensuring system stability and performance.
  • Monitoring and Observability: Implemented comprehensive infrastructure monitoring using Splunk, enabling proactive identification and resolution of performance issues, improved visibility into system health, and enhanced incident response capabilities.
