Fairly new to the photography profession having discovered my love for it at the age of forty. I believe that once you alter/edit/filter a photograph, it no longer is authentic, it becomes a personal opinion of what it "should" look like, a digital painting if you will. A photo should capture a moment as it is. There is beauty in the imperfections
