I am a senior SW engineer, with 12 years experience in C/C++, TCL, Perl, SystemC, on Linux and Windows platforms.
General Qualifications
Target oriented: Ability to provide qualified products on time, according to customer’s demands. Know to pick and sustain the right focus.
Customer oriented: Customer support was a natural quality in any role I had. Ability to understand customer’s needs and provide the right solution.
Fast learner: Fast and efficiency ramp up, do not afraid of new technologies.
Technical expert:
o Gained expertise in programming languages (C/C++, TCL, Perl, Swig).
o Deep understanding in the internal structure of the products I worked on, and in their applications and usability.
o Ability to understand design flows, their customizations and usages. Experience in building design and verification flows consist of several tools and scripts and gluing all the parts in a configurable way.
Team player: Enable productive and harmonic teamwork.
Presentation skills: Proven ability to prepare and deliver technical training, labs and presentations. I took a major part and successfully delivered department DEMO, participated in a Paper preparation and presented it while achieving “best presentation” award.
Very productive: Excellent programming skills, experience, willingness to do complex tasks with efficient work, lead to meet commitments on time and in a good quality and easy to support and extendable product.
Education
1990-1992 Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa
BA, Computer Science Department
2002-2004 Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa
Education in Technology and Science faculty
Professional Experience
1997-2004 Intel, Haifa
Senior SW Engineer, grade 7 in CAD/Data Model department
• Together with colleagues from Santa-Clara and Haifa, defined common basic interface for Data Model objects. That interface was implemented X-Site, and was the basis for any algorithm, applied on the data model.
• Defined and implemented methodology and building blocks for TCL interface for Data Model, using Swig.
• Defined and implemented the majority of high-level commands, which provided easy quires to the Data Model.
• Had a major role in product productization: modules partitions, dynamic loading, incremental SW build, intelligent and automatic test base and memory leaks eliminations.
• Delivered presentations, Training sessions and labs on:
o Basic Data Model objects and internal interfaces.
o Tcl and Swig, Tools for component interface creation.
o Writing and using High Level Commands.
• I was the major developer of a department DEMO, and delivered it in Intel conference in Oregon. The DEMO significantly contributed to the real product and boosted its implementation.
• I was an owner of a platform tool, which enabled Plug and Play of other components.
1995-1996 COMSAT RSI / Gilat Satellite Networks, Washington DC
Real-Time SW Engineer
• Real time SW Engineer under pSOS OS, in a joint project with American and Israeli companies. Designed and implemented Call Routing and redundancy system.
1993-1994 Intel, Haifa
SW Engineer in Design Automation department
• I was the owner of Logic verification Flow (LVF).
• Trained designers on using the flow and the various tools involved.
• I and two other colleagues wrote a Paper: Innovative approach in Fault Grading, which achieved Best Presentation award in Intel conference in Santa-Clara.
1991-1992 Intel, Haifa
Computer Science Student since 2nd year in CAD department
• I was the Tool Owner of a tool, which translates from Intel Hardware Description Language (iHDL) to the standard VHDL.
1989-1991 Orion Technologies, Givataim
MENTOR Schematic Editor CAD Application Technician
• I prepared and delivered courses for Mentor customers and supported them. Among my customers were Telrad, Mabat, Elta and Air Force.
• I moved Telrad Drawing department from manual design to computerized design using Mentor.
1987-1988 Service in IDF as Electronics technician
• I participated in Paramilitary course of Electronics, and served as Electronics Technician.
